Options

Command path:  Tools->Options
This tool allows you to set various options that affect the formatting of displayed values and to apply transformational operations on calculated solutions.

Decimals
This option applies to all Shop Solver tools.  Set the Decimals value to the number of digits to be displayed to the right of the decimal point.

Translate
This option is only applicable to the "Quick" tools Line/Line, Line/Circle  and Circle/Circle.  The result(s) of the intersection calculation is translated by the specified X and Y distances.  The default translation values are both 0.  See Note 1 below.

Scale
This option is only applicable to the "Quick" tools Line/Line, Line/Circle  and Circle/Circle.  The result(s) of the intersection calculation is scaled by the specified X and Y factors.  The default scaling values are both 1.0.  See Note 1 below.

Rotate
This option is only applicable to the "Quick" tools Line/Line, Line/Circle  and Circle/Circle.  The result(s) of the intersection calculation is rotated around the origin by the specified angle in degrees.  The default rotation value is 0.  See Note 1 below.

Note 1
The transformational operations described above may be applied singularly or in any combination.  If applied in any combination the order of operations is:

1. Rotation
2. Translation
3. Scaling

If any non-default transformation value is specified then the result(s) shown in the "Quick" tool will be displayed with a blue background as a reminder that one or more transforms has been applied.
